About Us

Who We Are

In 2010, spurred by a deep commitment to service, Fr. Christopher Odeluyi embarked on a personal mission: to ensure that the less privileged and vulnerable members of our society had access to quality education. Driven by a shared vision, dedicated friends, families, and generous benefactors rallied behind this cause. Their collective support bolstered the efforts to provide not just education, but a transformative experience for those traditionally left on the margins of society.

What began as a compassionate act of one individual evolved over time. By 2023, Christopher Odeluyi Foundation for Education (COFFE) was registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission  as a incorporated trustee in Nigeria. The organization’s primary objective became crystal clear – to provide nothing short of quality education to the less privileged, orphaned, and vulnerable children within our communities.

COFFE stands as a testament to the power of grassroots initiatives, fueled by empathy and a resolute belief in the transformative power of education. It’s a beacon of hope, dedicated to breaking barriers and creating a brighter future for those who have faced the greatest challenges in accessing educational opportunities.

1.2.0   MISSION.

To empower the poor and vulnerable persons of society by providing equitable access to quality education at all levels. COFFE is dedicated to nurturing potential, fostering holistic development, and instilling lifelong learning skills in less privileged, orphaned, and vulnerable children, ensuring they have the tools to shape their future and contribute positively to society.

VISION.

We envision a world where every child, regardless of their background, economic status or social circumstance, has the fundamental right to a high-quality education. We aspire to break the cycle of poverty and inequality by fostering an educational environment that not only imparts knowledge but also cultivates critical thinking, compassion, and innovation. Our vision is to create empowered individuals capable of shaping their own destinies and positively impacting their communities and beyond.

AIMS OBJECTIVES.

  1. To make quality education accessible to the very poor and less privileged of the society, ensuring those who could not afford, are able to get fully funded quality education.
  2. Provide scholarships to children of the very poor in the society.
  3. Ensure quality education by providing quality educational facilities and materials to rural and poor communities.
  4. Alleviate poverty by providing free vocational and entrepreneur training for young people (18 years and below).
  5. Encourage girl child education and women empowerment through sensitization and scholarships.
  6. To contribute to building a society where all children will have equal access to quality education, irrespective of financial status and background.
